We believe that a healthy workforce helps to make our company innovative and genuine, and that our employees are engaged and exceptional!”

2021 is the second year Forney has been honored with this award, however this year comes with added distinction. Like most businesses, 2020 was a time of great transformation for Forney Industries. The pandemic harbored several setbacks for the organization, however it also taught Forney to adjust while continuing to uphold the standards of wellness the company is founded on.

Steve Anderson, President and CEO of Forney Industries, commends his staff’s dedication to wellness, commenting, “Forney’s greatest asset is our people. I firmly believe that our culture, our business, and our success are all directly connected to the individuals who show up each day with a passion and commitment to the company and to each other. My mantra has always been that I want them to leave here better than when they started.”

Forney Industries is one of America’s longest operating family-owned tool, equipment and accessory product companies. Headquartered in Fort Collins, Colorado, the company was founded in 1932 and introduced the first publicly available arc welder in the 1940s. Today, Forney offers thousands of metalworking products within four categories: welding, abrasives, personal protective equipment and shop tools.
